We’ve worked with the art museum on several projects for them. The first was the children’s art zone on the bottoms floor. It was covered in many layers of paint. The paint was removed and the floor was polished and soaked with lithium. The concrete was hand cut into large tiles. No dye was used, we wanted to enhance the original colors in the concrete.
The exterior patio was completed in 2013. It was poured and dyed with integral color than ground to an exterior polish grit and saw cut into 6 ft slabs to give it a manageable feel. The planters were also integrally dyed and poured in place as well as the poured and moveable planters near the walkway.
